Sarupe and Morgan’s Wedding Videography at Wotton House, Surrey

Sarupe and Morgan’s wedding at Wotton House in Surrey was my first wedding of 2026, and it definitely started the season with a unique bang.

Their signage welcomed guests to a “Gay Punjabi Circus Wedding”, which is a description I certainly can’t top.

Sarupe is Sikh, Morgan is in the circus, and the day blended Morgan’s circus background, Sarupe’s Punjabi culture, Sikh and Christian elements, all in one go.

From a wedding film point of view, that kind of variety is easy to craft into a unique story, and visually it was striking and unique.

The morning was very chill, with both brides getting ready in the same room, and one of my favourite moments was filming the mothers help them get into their Sikh dresses, as well as when Sarupe surprised Morgan with a beautiful portrait of her circus performance.

Then we went on to the Sikh tradition of the families greeting each other, dancing, and popping a few smoke grenades (not sure if that bit is traditonal!) which got the energy up before the ceremony.

Then there were the moments you just don’t get at most weddings: fire breathing, circus elements, and big group dancing to name just a few. It gave the wedding film its own identity straight away and created a hugeeee party vibe.

This was one where the VHS, home video style really fit the film.. With that level of energy and unpredictability, keeping parts of it a bit rough around the edges captured how it really felt to be there.

I loved how their personal vows were funny and true to both of their real personalities. There were sweet moments in both vows, but they had me laughing more than anything, which made them ideal to pair with footage of circus acts and the other upbeat moments of the day.

Because so much was going on, I had Jake Aldred join me to help film more angles throughout the day.

Photography was provided by the wonderful Chloe Noble who captured the editorial vibe the couple wanted. Sam Brill joined her as a second shooter for capturing even more great pics.

Safe to say, my first wedding in Surrey is one to remember, and I’ve love to go back to Wotton House again to film more weddings at that beautiful venue.
